2025 Toyota Camry XSE: A New Look At The Upcoming Model

2025 Toyota Camry XSE

The 2025 Toyota Camry XSE will revolutionize the midsize car segment with major upgrades.

The Camry has long been a top-selling sedan due to its reliability, comfort, and pricing. Toyota plans to improve the Camry XSE experience with new amenities, powertrain options, and a revised look in 2025.

Design

Major mid-cycle changes are coming to the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE, although the car will still use the same TNGA-K platform it has since 2018.

The new design will likely take cues from the Toyota Crown, which features redesigned headlights, taillights, and a refreshed front fascia.

The 2025 Camry XSE will be more assertive and up-to-date than its forerunners, as evidenced by spy shots of well-camouflaged test mules.

Powertrain

The advent of an all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain is one of the most talked-about alterations coming to the Camry XSE in 2025.

The 2.5-liter inline-four engine supplied on base-level Camry cars may be phased out. It produces 203 horsepower.

Instead, Toyota could equip the 2019 Camry XSE with the Crown’s 236-horsepower all-wheel-drive hybrid system, boosting performance and fuel economy.

It should be noted, however, that these upgrades to the powertrain are still merely speculation and that Toyota has not yet confirmed any of the specifications.

Features

While Toyota has not yet detailed the 2025 Camry XSE’s features and comforts, we may assume that the trim will again come standard with upscale additions.

Features such as a sport-tuned suspension, larger wheels (19.0 inches), and Dynamic Torque Control All-Wheel Drive have been part of the XSE package in prior model years.

The 2025 model is expected to improve upon these features by including new ones that add to the vehicle’s technology, safety, and comfort.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Toyota Camry XSE’s pricing has yet to be announced. The current generation’s base price begins at $27,415, but it’s unlikely that the new model would begin at a lower price.

There may be changes to the Camry price range if Toyota decides to sell just hybrid versions of the car.

The 2025 Camry XSE has yet to have a confirmed release date, but we can expect it to debut later in 2023, with sales beginning in 2024.
